Beautiful, sensual semi permanent lips are created by adding natural colour pigment implants where needed, achieving instant fullness and definition. Corrections can be made to thin, uneven or unsymmetrical lips in conjunction with Dermal Fillers.

Please Note: Darker skin tones may not be suitable for lip permanent make up due to the natural undertones occurring in the skin pigmentation and the way that this affects the ultimate colour.

Cold sore sufferers should embark on a course of anti-viral cold sore medication prior to starting their treatment and make their technician aware of this.

Colour will be much more intense for initial few days after the treatment.

CONSULTATION

1st Consultation fee is £30.  Second consultation £0 (30 min) is available on the day of your treatment.

DEPOSIT £100 per treatment will be fully deducted from the total cost.

  • When you arrive for your appointment we start with a consultation, discussing what you are looking to achieve and what is the most appropriate shape for you.
  • Numbing cream is applied whilst you complete your consultation forms.
  • The numbing cream is removed and the area that is going to be treated will be photographed.
  • Measurements are taken and this enables us to draw in the new brow, lip or eyeliner contour and select a colour that will suit your face shape, skin tone and hair colouring. We work together on this part to achieve the most suitable results for you.
  • When you are 100% happy with the shape, we will then go ahead and start implanting the pigment.
  • After the treatment – we will discuss all important aftercare instructions and supply you with some vitamin ointment.
  • You are then invited to return back to the clinic 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment for at least one retouch procedure, this is to assess the result and add / correct any missing colour.

Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become lighter as the tissue heals. This process can take up to 14 days. Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, it is advised not to make social plans for the same day.
A patch test will be ready for collection from the reception, unless waived upon request.
You will be required to fill in Consent and Treatment forms and will have your photograph taken. These will be stored securely by your technician.

Please refrain from taking all blood thinning medications and supplements for at least one week prior to receiving permanent makeup. If you take a prescription blood thinner, please consult with your physician before discontinuing it. Over the counter blood thinners of most concern include:

– Anything containing ibuprofen,
– Aspirin or anything containing aspirin,
– Fish Oil,
– Gingko Biloba,
– Niacin,
– Vitamin E.

To minimize bleeding, potential bruising, and discomfort, please refrain from using caffeine, alcohol and exercising during the 24 hours before your treatment.

Lips Procedures:

If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), we advise you to contact your doctor to obtain the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks. Alternatively, obtain herpes medication for example Zovirax from your local chemist and use one week before and one week after your procedure. This can help minimise an outbreak.
Permanent cosmetic procedures do not cause cold sores, however if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the body and can be aroused by the procedure.

Lip wax or bleaching treatments should not be undertaken for at least a two-week period preceding your permanent cosmetic procedure.

If you have had any type of lip surgery, consult with the physician about how long you should wait before having a permanent makeup procedure on the lips.

Patients on prescription medications

Should check with their doctor regarding interactions, especially those on heart meds, blood thinners or with autoimmune disease. Written consent by your GP might be required. Some medications and herbs can increase swelling and bleeding. Never discontinue a medication your doctor has recommended for you without consulting him or her.
Arnica taken before and after the procedure may reduce risk of bruising.

Surgery:
If cosmetic surgery has been carried out within the last five years in the area the procedure is to be carried out a letter from your surgeon must be produced before the procedure can take place.

Contraindications:
You know the state of your health better than anyone. If you have any medical issues that you feel might be a contraindication, then we suggest you get clearance from your doctor.

All SPMU prices include your first Top Up (6 – 8 weeks after initial treatment).
Your procedure is not deemed complete until you have had both treatments.
