CONSULTATION fee is £30. Second consultation £0 (30 min) is available on the day of your treatment. DEPOSIT £100 per treatment will be fully deducted from the total cost.

Semi Permanent cosmetic procedures normally require multiple treatment sessions. For best results, clients will be required to return for at least one touch up procedure between 6 to 8 weeks after the initial procedure.

SPMU TREATMENT STEP BY STEP GUIDE

When you arrive for your appointment we start with a consultation, discussing what you are looking to achieve and what is the most appropriate shape for you.

Numbing cream is applied whilst you complete your consultation forms.

The numbing cream is removed and the area that is going to be treated will be photographed.

We do not remove all eyebrow hair, only eyebrow hair that is not in line with the new shape.

Measurements are taken and this enables us to draw in the new brow, lip or eyeliner contour and select a colour that will suit your face shape, skin tone and hair colouring. We work together on this part to achieve the most suitable results for you.

When you are 100% happy with the shape, we will then go ahead and start implanting the pigment.

After the treatment – we will discuss all important aftercare instructions and supply you with some aftercare vitamin ointment.

You are then invited to return back to the clinic 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment for at least one retouch procedure, this is to assess the result and add / correct any missing colour.

Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become lighter as the tissue heals. This process can take up to 14 days. Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, it is advised not to make social plans for the same day.
A patch test will be ready for collection from the reception, unless waived upon request.
You will be required to fill in Consent and Treatment forms and will have your photograph taken. These will be stored securely by your technician

Please refrain from taking all blood thinning medications and supplements for at least one week prior to receiving permanent makeup. If you take a prescription blood thinner, please consult with your physician before discontinuing it. Over the counter blood thinners of most concern include:

– Anything containing ibuprofen,
– Aspirin or anything containing aspirin,
– Fish Oil,
– Gingko Biloba,
– Niacin,
– Vitamin E.

To minimize bleeding, potential bruising, and discomfort, please refrain from using caffeine, alcohol and exercising during the 24 hours before your treatment.

Eyebrow Procedures:

– Any waxing should be performed at least 2 days before the procedure,
– Electrolysis no less than 1 week before the procedure,
– Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for two weeks prior to the procedure,
– Anti-Wrinkle treatments minimum 3 weeks before or after,
– Sunbathing / Sunbeds minimum 4 weeks,
– Avoid any skin peels, laser treatments, creams with Alpha Hydroxy Acid or Glycolic Acid or anti-aging serums around treated area for 4 weeks before the procedure.

Patients on prescription medications

Should check with their doctor regarding interactions, especially those on heart meds, blood thinners or with autoimmune disease. Written consent by your GP might be required. Some medications and herbs can increase swelling and bleeding. Never discontinue a medication your doctor has recommended for you without consulting him or her. Arnica taken before and after the procedure may reduce risk of bruising.

Surgery:

If cosmetic surgery has been carried out within the last five years in the area the procedure is to be carried out a letter from your surgeon must be produced before the procedure can take place.

Initial darker appearance of the procedural area:

All permanent cosmetic procedures will initially appear somewhat darker than the subsequently healed version. The following explanation will provide the reason why this is so:
To apply pigment in the upper dermis location of the skin, it is necessary to implant through the top layers of the skin, the epidermis. The epidermis layers of the skin collects and then exfoliates dead skin cells as new cells are produced. As the dead skin cells in the epidermis layer of the skin are exfoliated, tiny particles of pigment that are trapped in the epidermis are also discarded with the dead skin cells. When the total process is complete only the pigment in the dermis will remain. As a result, the density of the pigment is less and the appearance of the healed procedure naturally appears lighter. Also, these new skin cells cover the procedural area veiling the procedure and causing it to be less visible than when initially implanted.

Contraindications:
You know the state of your health better than anyone. If you have any medical issues that you feel might be a contraindication, then we suggest you get clearance from your doctor.
